during a summer vacation," and then to the formula where "female characters

Its sad that you mentioned Avalude
Raavukal as the beginning of South Indian B grade movie. The movie is a
critically acclaimed classic and portrays sex in a highly aesthetic manner.
It's another matter that the sex-starved youth savoured it the way they
liked, art be damned.

Rathi Nirvedham, handles the subject in a mature way. It's a
must-watch if you consider cinema as a form of art. The film-maker,
Bharathan, was one of country's finest film-makers.
Many other movies on this cliche have been made in the B grade movie industry, all of
them vulgar and full of sleaze. In my opinion, B grade movie movies are not part of
the film industry, they are part of the sex industry. Made on shoe-string
budgets (location = hotel room), these movies run as noon shows in certain
theatres across Kerala. And dubbed in other languages, they run in the rest
of the country. To some extent, these have eaten into the share of C grade
bollywood B grade movie industry. In a way, it's a back-hand compliment to the

Kerala actress Shakeela has acted in many Tamil movies. Presently she is in many Malayalam films giving a 'Fahrenheit' boost to the Kerala film industry.

She has been cast in Anbu Tholai where she does a very modest role. This movie has been produced under Tirupathi Venakatachalapathi films where she has been given a prestigious main heroine role shunning the usual sexy role. Director Hyath complimented on Shakeela's acting where she has brought high credits to acting in this movie.
In Anbu Tholai, Pandyarajan and Chinni Jayanth are cast as brothers and Ravali plays the heroine role with Pandyarajan. Elzhavu Venu Chakravarthy, R Sundarajan and Vennirai Aadai Murthy are also cast.
After a long break Soundaryan has given the music score. We have Shakeela on one hand and Ravali on the other hand to steal the show in this movie. One can blindly imagine how the movie would be a great hit!
Pandiyaraj will be seen in Hayath's Anbu Thollai. Shakeela has been roped in to do a character role in the film.
The actress is hot in Kerala, and some actors wanted the industry to boycot her as her films were semi-B grade movieographic and said it killed good cinema.
